Kona Village’s expansive beach and crescent shaped bay offer a refreshing balance of fun and privacy. Guests are offered complimentary use of snorkels, masks, kayaks, sailboats, outrigger canoes and body boards.  A complimentary children’s program – Na Keiki In Paradise – offers youthful guests a range of cultural experiences and activities. The Fitness Center and Spa features popular exercise equipment, sauna, locker rooms, showers, treatment rooms, and tennis courts with lights. Extensive jogging and walking trails makes exercise enjoyable and tours are given of the Resort’s petroglyph (ancient rock art) field. The Resort's ocean adventure boat provides opportunities for guests to snorkel and whale watch beyond the shores of Kahuwai Bay. As a PADI resort, Kona Village also offers an extensive SCUBA dive operation, including certification. A wide range of other activities – including deep sea fishing, horseback riding, and helicopter tours – can be arranged through the Resort’s Concierge or Kona Village Ocean Adventures Desk.
