Hilton Waikoloa Village features three pools with waterfalls, waterslides, jacuzzis, and hidden grottos, one with a sandy-bottomed children's pool and another for adults-only. There is also a four-acre oceanfed lagoon teeming with tropical fish and rare green sea turtles. Beach toys and water sports equipment are available for rent including kayaks and snorkel gear.
 
The resort is also home to two championship golf courses, an 18-hole Seaside Putting Course, eight world-class tennis courts and the luxurious Kohala Sports Club & Spa where guests can enjoy the perfect blend of time-honored treatments and modern therapies and the latest health and fitness technology. 
 
Camp Menehune for children ages 5 - 12 offers several unique activities from exploring tide pools to watching for whales and painting coconuts, and there are Hawaiian cultural activities and arts and crafts classes such as hula and lei making. Guests can meet the resident wildlife at the Parrot Talk and Fish Frenzy, Stargaze, or take a tour of the $7 million museum walkway or the 1 mile underground tunnel.
 
Guests also have the opportunity to interact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins at Dolphin Quest, and Red Sail Sports offers snorkel, sunset, dinner and seasonal whale watching cruises along with bike journeys and fish charters. Several on property shops and boutiques offer fragrances and fashion, art and souvenirs, and The Gallery features Big Island artists.
